Parent Notices:
- Please ensure that your child has sun screen and a hat for outdoor time.
- Please remember to bring a signed covid checklist each time you drop your child off at the Daycare.
- Please label all your child’s belongings to assist with things not being lost or mistakenly taken by another child.
Classroom Happenings in May
Infant/Toddler Room – The infants and toddlers will be learning all about dinosaurs in May. They have many exciting activities planned such as dinosaur sorting, songs, crafts and manipulative play. This room will also focus time on Mother’s Day and its meaning.
Preschool Room – In the preschool room they will be learning all about Mother’s Day, Animals and Pirates in May. Ms. Lopa has many interesting and educational activities planned such as learning how to take care of animals, differences between animals, animal sounds, treasure we can find outside, counting gold coins, pirates from around the world and measuring the treasure we found. In the preschool room, we are also implementing a more academic curriculum to assist our students with learning numbers, colors, letters, writing and basic math skills.
Before and After School – In our BAS room, the children will begin a homework program in May. If they return to the daycare from school with homework, it will be worked on before they go home. In May, they will be studying bugs and their lifecycles, habitats and eating habits. They will also spend some time on Mother’s Day.
